January 15-19, 2018
The Rome Exchange Club, led by the Americanism Committee,  hosted a gigantic Military History Program in the Community Building this week.
The exhibit  honors the sacrifices made for our freedom by the members of our armed forces as this year marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.  The exhibit includes the huge Military Collectibles from McDonough Ga. featuring over 60 mannequins dressed in the different branches of our military, both men and women that have been worn since the Spanish American War all the way through the Viet Nam War.  It also includes eve4ry day articles that were used during those time periods.

There is also a display of several military vehicles from the Duke Museum of Military History from right here in Rome.
Also featured is the Georgia’s Fallen Heroes Exhibit which features the names of all Georgians that made the supreme sacrifice of their lives for us and our freedoms in the Iraq War between the years of 2003 and 2011.  This comes to us from Manchester, Ga.
