Kudos to the Exchange Club of Rome for achieving the National Service Award.

National Exchange recognizes member clubs for completing at least one project in each of the programs of service areas, Youth, Community Service, Americanism, and our National Project, the Prevention of Child Abuse plus two additional ones in any of the project areas.

Past President Buzz Wachsteter explained to the club the significance of this award and how it represents the efforts of all members, working together in unity, to achieve this award and make Rome a better place to live, work and play.

Ted Noe Receives Certificate From National Exchange Club

Past President Larry Walker presiding at Friday’s meeting had the pleasure of presenting a certificate of achievement to member Ted Noe from the National Exchange Club.

Ted was recognized for 27 years of service to the community as a member of the Exchange Club of Rome.

During his tenure, Ted has served as Club President, Coosa Valley Fair President, Georgia District Exchange Clubs President, and District Director. Once Again, Ted will chair the admissions committee for this year’s fair.
