Guest speakers at the May 15th Exchange Club will be the ladies representing our area at the 2026 Miss Georgia and Miss Georgia’s Teen Competitions. Each young lady will speak briefly about her Community Service Initiative and what her experience has been like this year. This will be among their last official appearances before leaving for competition on June 11th.

Scheduled to speak are:

Miss Northwest Georgia, Sophia Wootten

Miss Northwest Georgia, Sophia Wootten. She is a Junior at the University of Georgia studying Audiology. Sophia was born with a cleft lip/palate and has endured 20 reconstructive surgeries. Her community service initiative is AccessAbility, Disability Advocacy in Education.

Miss Northwest Georgia’s Teen, Amelia Hussong. Amelia is a High School Junior who plans to become a Sports Broadcast Journalist. Amelia was recently named by Girl Talk, Inc. as their national Leader of the Year. Her community service initiative is Less Perfect, More Authentic.

Miss Rome’s Teen, Kameron Griffith

Miss Rome’s Teen, Kameron Griffith. She is a High School Senior who plans to attend Georgia Southern University and major in Education and one day become a Principal or Superintendent. She is a dual-enrollment honor student. Her community service initiative is Compassion to Action, Promoting Youth Volunteerism.

Miss Coosa Valley (and Miss Coosa Valley Fair), Jaylee Kilgo. She is a graduating Senior at Georgia Southern University, majoring in History and serving in 2025 as Panhellenic President. Her community service initiative is Let’s Make History, Georgia.

Miss Coosa Valley’s Teen (and Teen Miss Coosa Valley Fair), Ava Blackburn. She is a High School Freshman with hopes of attending UGA one day. As a Type 1 Diabetic, her community service initiative is Beyond the Battle.

Miss Floyd County (and 1st Runner Up to Miss Coosa Valley Fair), Alexis Limon. She is a High School senior who plans to pursue a career in education. Her community service initiative is Rewards of Giving Back.
